The main 14 meter towline is a 6mm braided cord and uses a Whetman Kraken stainless connector which is stowed on the left hand belt loop when not in use. The short tow also uses a Kraken connector and is made of 5mm braid cord with reflective element. Again the Kraken has a dedicated loop on the waist belt when not in use this time on the right hand side. The main line is anchored to a stainless ring then shock absorbing elasticated webbing and finally a second stainless ring sewn into the bag and waist belt. This second ring anchors the short tow tape as well.
