Available in two sizes the Stratos offers something to paddlers just getting into the sport as well as those more exprienced. On the flat the boat feels fast and stable even without the skeg deployed but the continous rocker profile and soft edges help keep it responsive and manoeuverable. In roughter conditions the volume in the mid section will help keep you comfortable and higher in the water, while the profiled bow rides up over the waves giving a drier ride.
The Dagger Contour CFS outfitting system offers a padded seat and backrest with a seating 'lift' which allows you to raise and lower the front edge of the seat on adjustable webbing straps. This helps reduce fatigue and numbness in you legs and gives you a better contact with the thigh braces. The backrest does not offer a height adjustment but in keeping with the Stratos more adventurous design provides good support and allows you to easily wear a spraydeck.
Storage in the bow is via a 10" round domed hatch with a large oval rear hatch in the stern both sealed with Mini-Cell foam bulkheads. Dagger have carefully positioned the skeg box and rear hatch to offer the maximum space for storage.
If you currently paddle a Dagger Axis E and are looking for something that offers a little more potential for longer trips and greater performace this could be the boat for you!
