We knew we'd be making a heap of coffees on our stand at Paddle Expo and using a ton of paper cups whether they were recyclable or not, wasn't a choice we wanted to make, not when there are better options out there.
Enter the bamboo cup. It's made from bamboo powder and corn starch, you can reuse it as many times as you like and should you ever break it or want to throw it away, just crush it up and it will decompose in landfill. You can then recycle the silicone lid and band.
