The Corryvreckan is Werner's largest premium High Angle blade, designed for those who want powerful strokes in all directions. The perfect paddle for the coastal play environment, or for those strong enough to move lots of water and cover the miles fast.
The stiffer properties of a carbon blade means you can use less material to achieve the same strength as fiberglass, at a lower weight while still being impact and abrasion resistant. The blade is shaped to give a smooth balanced stroke reducing twist and flutter and helping water flow evenly off each side. The blade also features a custom shaped, low profile, reinforcement spine on the reverse which allows for enhanced blade maneuverability when linking several strokes and provides blade stiffness and overall strength.
The 2 piece premium shaft is expertly engineered in house with using 100% carbon materials with the right amount of flex, weight and strength.
Werner's Neutral Bent shafts line up the blades grip area and ferrule in one straight line giving the a familiar feel of a straight shaft while aligning your wrists in a more ergonomic position to reduce fatigue. Proper ergonomic hand, wrist and forearm position alleviates stress and strain and can help reduce risk of injury. Neutral Bent shafts are slightly heavier than a straight shaft.
The Smart View adjustable ferrule system has the most precise, solid fit while maintaining a smooth one piece feel. Simple in design and operation, easily adjust to your desired feather with less moving parts. Better performance and longer lasting.
